Michael Jackson Talks About Charity Single

Gives short interview to the Associated Press

Sunday, September 18, 2005

Michael Jackson gave a short interview to Linda Deutsch of the Associated Press, and discussed his upcoming charity project and recent trial. The interview took place because Michael wanted to express his gratitude for AP's fair coverage of his trial.

Michael is currently organising a project to help aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina, "I'm constantly working on it," he said of the single From The Bottom Of My Heart. He added the plans were "moving full speed ahead."

The single is being released on 2 Seas Records, a company owned by Michael's friend (and the King of Bahrain's son) Prince Abdulla. "He's the very best, amazing, so kind," Michael said.

When asked about his recent trial, Michael stated it was "the hardest thing I've ever done in my life." Of course the outcome was a victorious one and ever since he has been "resting and recovering" with his children in Bahrain.
