Michael Jackson Settles Antiques Lawsuit

Settled out of court by returning furniture

Tuesday, October 25, 2005

Michael Jackson has settled his lawsuit with a Los Angeles antiques dealer according to Reuters.
"We resolved the lawsuit over the weekend. We settled it," said attorney Brent Ayscough, who represented Michael in this case. No money was exchanged as furniture was returned to The Mayfair Gallery.

The gallery sued as they only received $200,000 in payment for merchandise mounting up to $380,000. However Ayscough claimed Michael never paid the full bill as some items were "not what they were represented to be."
