Tellem Worldwide is a publicity and public relations agency specializing in health and science, biotechnology, entertainment, food issues; consumer products, energy, and veterinary products.

The firm is headed by Susan M. Tellem, APR, who founded her first agency, Tellem Public Relations, in 1977 that she later sold to Saatchi & Saatchi. Tellem also served as managing director/senior vice president of the corporate and health care practices for Burson-Marsteller and as chairman of the West Coast offices of Rowland Worldwide.

Tellem Worldwide offers its clients a variety of communications services, including media relations; business to business marketing; publicity; special events; crisis management; audio-visual presentations; analyst tours; and social marketing support.

A media driven agency, Tellem Worldwide has been responsible for thousands of successful client placements on local, regional and national television and radio talk shows and news programs as well as features and briefs in magazines and newspapers. Clients have appeared in everything from Associated Press, Time and the Wall Street Journal to NBC Nightly News, Today and Donahue. Tellem has taught media relations at UCLA for 11 years, is currently an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University in the Communications Department and has lectured and authored extensively on media relations and crisis management.

Membership is held in Public Relations Society of America; Academy of Television Arts & Sciences; Southern California Biomedical Association (Communications Committee founder); American Tortoise Rescue; and a variety of other animal organizations.
